This movie was very inspirational and based off a true story, which only made it even more so. Everything from the characters to the backdrop to the actual action was amazing. The use of music and visuals added more suspense that had me on the edge of my seat the whole second half of the movie!

Young Woman and the Sea
Personally, this movie wasn't for me. It definitely had some good elements and a great ending as well as a plot twist but overall the movie just dragged on way too long for my liking.

Challengers
To start, the action in this movie was truly captivating and it was a beautiful dedication for all the stuntmen in cinema. The first half of the movie felt a little slow, but quickly picked up in the action scenes as the plot started to develop. The action scenes were amazing and had the right amount of suspense. Although some parts were predictable, the plot twist was not and added an extra detail to the movie that pushed my rating to be so high.

The Fall Guy
This movie gave the much needed backstory to X and showed the desperation Pearl felt. You could truly see how much of a psychopath Pearl was and how her world fell apart when she realized she wasn't the star she thought she could be and was regretting what she did to her family.

Pearl
I honestly liked part 2 of Mockingjay better than part 1, simply because I liked the ending and the action scenes. This movie was very emotional, especially if you are rewatching because you know what is going to happen. Seeing how the world had come full circle and connecting the messed up dystopian society to our current government just shows how much thought was put into both the books and movies. The Hunger Games will remain one of my favorite series to rewatch.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2
This movie is the epitome of a dystopian movie. The soundtrack and the power in the revolution makes the action all the more moving. Seeing the character development of Katniss as she is forced to become a symbol for a revolution is both heartbreaking and empowering. In fact, the only reason this movie is not rated higher is the lack of action scenes that were present in the other hunger games movies.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1
This movie will remain my favorite in this series due to its action and the book itself. There is so much power in the scenes where the victors try to unite, and Katniss slowly morphs into the Mockingjay her society needs. Seeing the parallels from President snow in the government to out white house was very clearly illustrated as well. The plot twist with Plutarch was also executed very well in the movie. This movie is just so well directed, and there is not a single scene I would change.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
After rewatching this movie, I notice the deeper meanings behind scenes I skimmed over. One example of this is when Katniss grabs the remote and changes the background of a screen in her new room in the capitol and makes it a forest for only a brief moment. Overall, this movie tells a beautiful story and the action and drama is truly captivating!
